FOREST SPRINGS

Forest Springs is an 8 person Group Home that serves adults with intellectual disabilities in a home-like environment. This home encourages people to work toward their fullest potential by qualified staff who help foster independence in the following areas:

  • Language Skills: including verbal, manual and augmentative communication skills
  • Adaptive equipment: including furniture, utensils and communication devices.
  • Personal Services: personal hygiene, meal assistance, assistance with ambulation, transportation, correspondence and leisure activities.
  • Physical Development: recreational, occupational and physical therapy
  • Social and Emotional Development: awareness of self, others, the environment and integration into the community
  • Community Skills: awareness, utilization of resources and skills for participation including entertainment, shopping, church, banking, etc.
  • Administration of medication therapy as needed.

ICF

The staff of Forest Springs includes a Director of Residential Services-ICF/IID, Assistant Director, Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional, Social Worker, LPN/SC, Activity Coordinator, RN Consultant, Consulting Dietician, Developmental Training Coordinator, Developmental Trainers, Developmental Trainers Assistants, and Resident Assistants. Our qualified staff helps foster independence in all aspects of daily living and we are pleased to provide a 3:1 resident to staff ratio.

Forest Springs offers all private bedrooms, 2 livings rooms, a large dining room, kitchen, a whirlpool, and patio with screened in house, laundry facilities, several bathrooms with walk-in showers and wheelchair accessible vans.

HARMONY

Harmony is a 12 person Nursing Home that serves adults with intellectual disabilities in a home-like environment. This home encourages people to work toward their fullest potential by qualified staff who help foster independence in the following areas:

  • Adaptive equipment: including furniture, utensils, and communication devices
  • Personal Services: personal hygiene, meal assistance, administration of medication, ambulation, transportation, correspondence and leisure activities
  • Nursing Services: including wound care, oxygen administration, tube feedings, and diabetes services, medication management & administration, and in house lab drawings
  • Physical Development: recreational, occupational, speech & physical therapy
  • Social and Emotional Development: awareness of self, others & the environment and integration into the community
  • Community Skills: awareness, utilization of resources and skills for participation including entertainment, shopping, church, banking, etc.

Harmony provides quality medical care, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Our qualified staff help foster independence in all aspects of daily living and pleased to provide a 3:1 resident to staff ratio.

Harmony has private and double bedrooms, 2 living rooms, a large dining room, wheelchair accessible shower, whirlpool, kitchen, patio with screen house, laundry facilities, and wheelchair accessible vans.
